Artist's Comments

1) I hate naming my pieces

2) I hate putting them in categories.

Other than that. This is a massive canvas, without measuring I'm pretty sure it's 2 1/2 ft by 3 ft, self made frame, self stretched canvas, acrylic paint. Only about 6 hours of work total.

I'M INTERESTED IN SELLING THE ORIGINAL. Note me if you are interested in buying.

I hated canvas stretching, all that gesso shit. I buy mine pre made. I'm lazy.

Beautifully grotesque, m'dear.

I love making my own canvases. Its cheaper and I feel like I finished something even before Ive started really painting on it.

It's handy if you have specific dimensions that aren't readily available unless you have them custom made.

I love this.

It's got flare, and the colour scheme is not only brilliant, but it completed the overall image in a way that I feel normal colours would not.

There is a lovely way to the shading you have created, that gives surprisingly realistic form, despite the lack of "measured features" - which isn't a bad thing. It's freely shaped, and gives a greater sense of flow.

The rougher painting style also adds an edge of reality to the subject, it reminds me of gritty reality without being dirty, and without looking messy.

I would totally offer you a commission to paint anything of your fancy had I the money, but alas, I cannot give you such an offer, as I haven't the means to pay for it.

:flirty: An extremely tempting offer.

Extremely.
